We guarantee our animals are healthy when they leave our farm. We put a lot of time and care into raising our animals which includes health checks and preventative care. These animals have been handled daily by us, we love them all and they have developed a trust of humans. Some are more friendly than others, it’s just their nature.
We dam and herd raise our goats, but again they are handled daily by us humans. Babies will be available for pick-up at 12 weeks when we feel they are old enough to thrive without their dams. We do not offer bottle babies, this is a personal preference. Our belief is that goats raised by their dams and herd learn how to be good goat citizens. There are many things that a herd can teach that I, as a human cannot.
Our goats are dairy goats, they are a small breed and we will not sell them for meat purposes. We reserve the right to refuse a goat sale if we believe that person intends to butcher them. There are other great meat breeds available for that purpose, I would be more than happy to provide farm information for those looking.
Goats are herd animals, for their well-being they need to live with other goats. We will not sell to a home that has the intention to only have one. We feel our animals would not do well in such an environment. We want what is best for our animals and prefer they go to homes that are equipped to care form them accordingly.
Piglets are available beginning at 8 weeks old and once they are weaned by their dams. We prefer the piglets eating regular food before we release them to their new homes. Our animals health is of the utmost importance to us and we want their transitions to their new homes to be as painless as possible.
We require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to hold an animal. Deposits can be made via PayPal, personal check, or in person with cash. The deposit will be applied to the cost of the animal and the remaining balance will be due in cash only at the time of pick-up.
Once the animals have left our farm, we are no longer responsible for any losses or damages. Please email us if you have any questions or concerns about their care. We love to mentor new animal owners.
